Kids Village Announced as Official Charity Partner

The National Property Awards is proud to announce that Kids Village will be the official charity partner for this year’s event.

Founded by the Fletcher family after their daughter Sammie’s experience with childhood cancer, Kids Village is on a mission to build the United Kingdom’s first dedicated holiday village for seriously ill children and their families. This unique haven will offer a safe, inspiring, and restorative environment where families can enjoy nature, play, and make treasured memories away from the daily challenges of medical treatments and hospital visits.

Since its launch in 2018, Kids Village has been driven by passion, determination, and a vision of creating a place that brings hope and joy during some of the most difficult times. In 2023, the charity achieved a significant milestone by securing planning permission for the project. The next stage is to raise the capital funds required to bring this extraordinary vision to life.

By partnering with Kids Village, the National Property Awards aims to raise both awareness and essential funds to help make this dream a reality. Throughout the awards campaign, guests and supporters will have opportunities to learn more about the project, contribute to its development, and be part of creating a life-changing space for families across the country.

“We are honoured to support Kids Village as our charity partner,” said Ifraz Ahmed & Anita Chumber, Co-Founders of the National Property Awards. “Their mission is truly inspiring, and we hope this partnership will help them take another step closer to building a place where children and families can find peace, joy, and togetherness.”

The National Property Awards will take place on 27.09.25 at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham – Join us!

Midland Property & Investment Awards Announces Kids’ Village Charity as Official Charity Partner

The Midland Property & Investment Awards (An event powered by B Events) is proud to announce its partnership with Kids’ Village Charity as the official charity for this year’s awards ceremony, set to take place this September. Kids’ Village, a groundbreaking initiative, is the UK’s first respite holiday village designed exclusively for children with critical illnesses and their families.

Founded by the Fletcher family, inspired by 9-year-old Sammie’s battle with childhood cancer and an uplifting trip, Kids’ Village aims to provide a sanctuary where sick children and their families can enjoy nature, indulge in imaginative play, and experience a sense of freedom away from the daily challenges of serious illness.

Interim CEO of Kids’ Village, Paul Faulkner, expressed his gratitude and excitement about the partnership: “We are delighted that Kids’ Village has been chosen as the official charity partner of the prestigious Midlands Property & Investment Awards, taking place this September.

Kids’ Village is on a mission to raise £5million so that we can build the UK’s first holiday village offering respite breaks for critically ill children and their families right here in the Midlands, and so there is a natural alignment with these Awards.

As a young charity, this is also the first Awards ceremony that has selected Kids’ Village to be its charity partner since we announced our fundraising target, and so we are incredibly appreciative of the opportunity to collaborate with the Awards and to tell more people about all Kids’ Village is aiming to achieve.”

The partnership between the Midland Property & Investment Awards and Kids’ Village Charity underscores a shared commitment to community support and social responsibility. By aligning with Kids’ Village, the Awards aim to highlight the importance of giving back and supporting initiatives that provide critical aid and joy to families facing unimaginable challenges. The awards ceremony will take place on 20th September 2024 in Birmingham.

The Awards ceremony will not only celebrate the achievements within the property and investment sector but also shine a light on the commendable work done by Kids’ Village. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to the charity’s noble cause, aiding their mission to create a haven for children and their families during the most challenging times of their lives.
